NIDS-SATYA…… HAS MADE THE GOBAL IMPACT TOWARDS LEGISLATIVE PROVISIONS ON SURROGACY IN India AND THE EFFORTS MADE THROUGH “SURROGACY DRIVE “GLOBALLY RESULTING SURROGACY BILL 2019 WHICH WILL BE BENIFITTING ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF THE WORLD

•  Under the Research wing of Development branch of NIDS-SATYA, in 2008, under the leadership of Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, Chairman NIDS-SATYA has been internationally recognized on child rights initiative.
•  Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, first International Social Activist to stand for the protection of the rights of the first surrogate child of the country born out of the commercial surrogacy by Japanese parents and with an Indian surrogate mother.
•  NIDS-SATYA has had brought this case into the notice of High court as well as the Supreme Court. Case of Manjhi is one such effort in the protection of the child rights of a new born baby.
•  Finally on NIDS-SATYA efforts got recognized and on 3rd July 2019, the Surrogacy bill received Cabinet’s approval.
•  The entire country is indebted for the giant leap into this neglected area by bringing this law that will prove a boon for women of entire nation against their exploitation on one hand and allowing a way to see new life playing in laps of those who had lost all hopes of upbringing their own progeny due to medical sickness.

The water resources on earth for consumption by living beings have become scarce, both in terms of quantity as well as in quality. Fresh water, the water that can be directly used for domestic and agricultural purposes, too is shrinking on earth. Presently, the demand for water has increased enormously.

•  Since there was a nationwide pressure against commercial surrogacy for opening medical tourism for foreigners, a government notification in the year 2015, first foundation stone was laid by none other than the never before Union government lead by Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
•  Finally, under the chairmanship of our Hon’ble The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Surrogacy bill received Cabinet’s approval on 3rd July, 2019.
